About The Author
Jörg Braese
Freelance food & health blogger, web designer and marketing specialist
I built the The Sausage Haüs website and I also write the content you find here - product pages, cooking guidance, and the supporting articles that help you choose, prepare, and serve each sausage with confidence. My focus is always clarity and usefulness: straightforward explanations, practical tips, and information that’s easy to apply, whether you’re cooking at home or planning service at scale.
About myself
I help brands grow through high-performance websites, clear messaging, and data-driven marketing. After a career spanning senior international leadership roles, entrepreneurship, and the scaling of consumer-facing businesses, I now work independently - building modern WordPress sites, strengthening digital funnels, and publishing practical food and health content grounded in real-world experience.

What I do today
As a freelancer, I typically support clients and my own platforms across four areas:
Web design & build: Modern, conversion-focused websites (WordPress), landing pages, and scalable content structures that are straightforward to manage and grow.
Science-based online courses: High-quality, research-informed online courses with structured learning modules and professional video delivery - produced with modern AI tools, including ultra-realistic AI avatars where appropriate.
Marketing & growth: Positioning, content strategy, social media growth, lead generation, and e-commerce optimisation - from first principles through to analytics-driven iteration.
Food & health blogging: Practical, evidence-aware content that makes nutrition and lifestyle changes easier to understand and apply day-to-day.

Background and track record
I have spent decades building, leading, and scaling businesses across multiple sectors and countries - covering strategy, marketing, sales leadership, partnerships, operations, and team development. Highlights include scaling a consumer brand from low-single-digit millions to eight figures in revenue, growing teams from small start-up size to multi-department organisations, and building large, measurable audiences through social platforms and digital channels.
Earlier in my career I worked in global alliance leadership and general management, and before that I led software development teams - building complex systems in regulated, high-stakes environments and developing early object-oriented database technology. This blend of commercial leadership and technical fluency is one reason I focus so strongly on execution: strategy is only useful if it is implemented well.
How I work
My approach is pragmatic and outcomes-driven:
- Clarity first (positioning, audience, offer, and message)
- Strong foundations (site structure, UX, performance, tracking)
- Content that earns attention (helpful, specific, and measurable)
- Continuous improvement (iterate based on data, not opinions)
Topics you’ll see from me
- Depending on the site you’re reading, I write about:
- website strategy and conversion-focused design
- content marketing and organic growth
- practical nutrition, food choices, and healthy routines
Credentials
I hold degrees in Chemistry and Business Economics, and work fluently in English and German.
